Welcome to the scary page with all the rules. Our goal is to accommodate more custom commissions in the future, and all changes made to our TOS are to help achieve that goal. Thank you for understanding!

Glitzy Fox Studios’ terms of service (updated 8/31/2024).

Major Changes 2025

All suits will be made with artistic liberty, and changes to your character may be made to fit our style and standardization. Please see the “Elements of our Style” section for more information. Significant changes will be discussed before commissions are accepted. If you want a lot of control and are not flexible with your character design, we recommend getting a suit from one of this fandom's many incredible and talented makers.

Communication

You may contact us via Telegram, Twitter, Instagram, or glitzyfoxstudiosteam@gmail.com. We prefer Telegram for faster and better communication, but customers are not obligated to open a Telegram account. We will respond within 48 business hours unless there is an emergency. All agreements made electronically are binding.

QUOTES, COMPLETION TIMES, QUEUE, AND SLOTS

Updates and Completion Time

Our fursuit-building team has four members, and we also travel to conventions around the world. We work five business days, typically Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 5 PM EST. We post daily updates during our active hours on our Telegram channel and inform customers when we decide to take the day off.

When given a slot, you will receive an estimated completion time before payment—this will be a year, not a month. We do not work under strict deadlines to lower stress amongst our team. Clients given a year date in the latter half of the year may fall back into the prior year.

Slots Openings & the Queue

Customers must get a slot to purchase an item from us. The queue/waitlist is tracked via our Trello. Customers who have completed all payments and Patreons are prioritized. We reserve the right to order the queue as we see fit.

  • Standard Slot Opening: we will announce slot openings on Twitter and Instagram. Customers must fill out the quote form, and then we will choose which projects to accept. All eligible customers will be notified via email on a specified date and time. The first customers to respond will get their slots.

  • Convention Slot Opening: we may accept up to two commissions from convention attendees.

  • Upgrade Slot: customers who purchased before November 2021 are given access to the queue. They can commission us in the future for personal projects or upgrades on their current suits.

  • Auction Slot (rare): slots auctioned via Dealers Den.

Elements of Our Style

All Commissions will now be partially artistic liberty, which means we will not accept suggestions or changes to the following elements:

  • Ear shape/size, face shape, and eye shape will not be altered, except for some hybrid species—this will be at our discretion.

  • Static plush or 3D-printed antlers, horns, and appendages. We will not make them removable.

  • Resin, plastic, or rubber noses. We do not do fabric noses.

  • Mixed bodysuit fur textures with shorter fur on the stomach and longer fur on the shoulders and back. You must be okay with abrupt fur texture changes that are there for style. We do not taper or shave fur on bodysuits. We will do what fits your character's style and vibe and what fits our vision. You will, however, have a say in the body type and build.

  • Our signature bodysuit shapes include a slight curl to the tail, high hock on feet paws, etc.

  • Hair will be made of NFtech or faux fur and positioned in the front unless we agree otherwise before the commission. Manes will not go down the back of the head unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Pinku’s Crafty Cottage makes our plantigrade or full-partial feet paws. They are not made in-house.

  • We do not implement electronic fans unless they are for accessibility or medical reasons. We cannot cover electronic fans under our warranty.

Accessories (Earrings, Collars, Etc.)

Accessories are not included in your default commission, even if they are in your character’s reference sheet. We may offer to make them for you for a price or throw them in for free. Please do not expect that they will be included.

Quality Disclaimer

We are not capable of symmetry or perfection. Multiple members of our team have medical diagnoses, including neurological issues, wrist/dexterity issues, and vision problems that may lead to unfixable mistakes. Our pricing is based on our demand and not our skill level. If you are not 100% satisfied, please contact us.

Expect some imperfections in fur symmetry and gluing. We are constantly working to improve, but we can not guarantee that your suit will not have mistakes. Our teeth and noses are glued. The teeth may start to wiggle due to occasional usage. If you ever lose a tooth, we are happy to replace it. We are yet to see someone lose a tooth! Some internal areas on the muzzle may not look professional, but we are working on a seamless process to resolve this issue.

The client gets one free mending/care/touch-up each year, shipping paid by the client. We are also happy to guide you through fixing complex markings and loose stitching.

Denial of Service and Contract Termination

Glitzy Fox Studios reserves the right to terminate any contract at any time without reason. We reserve the right to terminate a client's contract if they are found to fall under any of the following criteria:

  • Customers who attack or belittle members of the Glitzy Fox Team using slurs or foul language.

  • Customers who are under the age of 18.

  • Individuals who support racist or bigoted ideals or those who support harmful paraphilias like zoophilia or pedophilia.

  • Individuals who are found to be dangerous members of the community due to sex crimes, grooming, or violent actions.

If this occurs, the client will be refunded, and 30% of the total invoice will be kept for any work started. The suit will be destroyed, and the parts will be repurposed.

Fursuit Review / Bad Mouthing

We understand that critique allows us to improve as a business, but leaving a negative review without allowing us to resolve any issues or publicly slandering our company will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to seek legal compensation.

Cancellations

We understand that life happens and that you may need to cancel your commission. After three months, we retain the right to refuse a refund for the 30% deposit. However, we will decide on situations on a case-to-case basis. Usually, we are willing to accommodate full refunds at any time if expensive custom-run items were not made. However, this is at our discretion.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING

Payment Policies

To protect Glitzy Fox Studios and its customers, all payments are processed through PayPal or Square. Full payments will be processed through Square, while payment plans will be processed through Paypal. We reserve the right to cancel and refund clients fully at any point. This can be due to an issue on the client's or the team’s side.

Payment Plans

We understand that fursuits are expensive and do not want you to struggle financially. A 0-20% downpayment must be paid upon accepting your commission (this depends on the specific slot). It is not refundable after three months.

Payment plans fall under pay as you want, so there are NO specific due dates. However, payments must be completed within 12 months unless we agree to something else. All Payment plans will incur a 3% charge to offset costs associated with the multiple payments. Customers who have paid off the most will have their suits worked on first. Customers who pay in complete payments faster WILL pass your spot in line.

By commissioning us, you agree to:

  • Pay the total price of your item before we ship it.

  • Consent to have your payment progress made public on Trello.

It is unlikely that your items will be worked on before being fully paid off, so do not wait for an update from us before paying. You must pay your suit off within the agreed-upon time to receive a refund or item (extenuating circumstances will be considered).

Shipping and Returns

Shipping is not included in the quoted price of an item and the original invoice. Customers will be charged the amount it costs to ship the item and for packing materials.

All of our packages within the domestic United States are handled by USPS. Shipping times can vary depending on the shipping address. Expect orders to arrive within 3-7 business days. International shipments may arrive within 8-21 business days. These are estimations and may change in the rare event that major weather events or other factors that influence the shipping process occur.

Tracking Information and Missing Packages

Once your order has been packed and shipped from our studio, we will send your tracking information to the e-mail address you used to place it. If you do not see your tracking information, please double-check your Spam or Promotions folder in your e-mail in case the message was accidentally redirected. Please contact us for assistance.

If you believe your package is lost, stolen, or missing, we reccomend consulting the official USPS FAQ for missing packages.

If you have contacted USPS or your local post office and are still unable to locate your package, please contact us. You must give us as much information as possible regarding your case in addition to:

  • Your 5-digit order number (#00000).

  • Your full name.

  • Your confirmed address (zip/postal code and all relevant unit numbers).

Glitzy Fox Studios will not be responsible for any potentially lost or stolen packages involving customs wherein the customer did not provide their full legal name. We kindly ask that you do not withhold any information from us; otherwise, we will not be held responsible for a package not arriving at its destination. We cannot guarantee safe delivery if you do not provide us with your full name—it is a requirement for most customs issues.

Insurance is required on all items. The buyer must pay for the insurance, which ranges from $20 to $60. The average US shipping cost for a Partial Suit is $90, including insurance. The average US shipping cost for a full suit is $150, including insurance.

Attention International Customers! You will be charged appropriately for a customs fee (upwards of $500-1,000 USD). We must state the total value of your item on the customs form to legally ship it, so it is your responsibility to pay the fee. Do not ask us to claim the value at $0 USD. Please know your country's mailing laws and policies to avoid legal issues. Thank you for understanding, and we will not be offended if you commission another maker due to this.

WARRANTY & SAFETY

Allergies

As the customer, you are responsible for informing Glitzy Fox Studios of any materials you are allergic to. We use the following materials: Flex-Foam IT III (expanding foam), EVA Foam, Upholstery foam, PVB, lycra/spandex, resin, hot glue, plastics, and faux fur. We have animals in the same building as our workshop.

Warranty and Care

Products are guaranteed for 60 business days. If anything breaks during this time, Glitzy Fox Studios will pay to have the item shipped back to the studio for repairs. Any damage or repairs are covered under warranty for two years. After the 60 days, the client must pay for shipping. If you need a repair done, even if it does not fall under warranty, please contact us. We may be willing to fix your suit even if you are not eligible for a free repair.

Glitzy Fox Studios is not responsible for any damage the customer does to their suit, including water damage or modification. We ask that clients not submerge their feet, paws, or fursuit heads in water to clean them. Fans and LED lights may be installed in suits. You are required to use these responsibly, and any injury is not the fault of Glitzy Fox Studios. We are not required to repair any faulty or broken technology.

Modifying the Fursuit head without permission or selling an item to a third party will void your warranty.

Free Yearly Cleaning and Repairs

Clients may send their items back to Glitzy Fox Studios once per year for cleaning, repairs, and touch-ups. This expires after three years. If the repair is needed after 60 days of receiving the item, the client must pay for shipping. Repairs do not include sun/friction-damaged fur or damage caused by extreme negligence, natural disasters, or contact with water.

We are a sex-positive company. However, for the safety and well-being/comfort of all team members, suits used for sexual acts and adult content may lose their warranty and are not eligible for their yearly cleaning.

MISCELLANEOUS

Privacy Policy

A client’s personal information will only be used to fulfill their orders. Exceptions to this rule include:

  • Reviewing the client’s social media pages to ensure their behavior complies with the law and our terms of service.

  • If the client does a payment plan, their payment status will be listed on Trello as “Not Paid” or “Payment Plan Ongoing.”

  • The client's information posted on their client intake form will be shared with members of the Glitzy Fox Studios Team and art staff.

Intellectual Property

You may not deconstruct or replicate any part of a Glitzy Fox Studio’s fursuit. Parts that Glitzy Fox Studios did not make have been licensed for use, so copying or redistributing any of these aspects is stealing.

Telegram Channel

As of September 2021, our Telegram channel is only available to customers and Patreons. When you commission us, you will be given a link to join. Please be respectful and avoid inciting arguments, creating drama, using profane or offensive language, or behaving inappropriately toward the staff, customers, and Patreons. Failure to comply will result in your removal from the channel. Those who wish only to receive updates may receive them via private message or email.
